Wow!  19 weeks of lunches?  I can hardly believe it!  That being said, this will be the last weekly lunch ideas post.  I will be moving to a monthly post where I only share the more creative and inspiring lunches I post.  I’m hoping this will be a lot better, no more of my kids boring lunches, but more of what you want – lunch ideas!  Something new and helpful.  I will of course still link to recipes that are great for leftovers to send in lunches, but no more pictures of my kids Thermos’s unless it’s something especially interesting 🙂  That being said, time to get into this last weekly post!  Will see you at the end of this month for another lunch ideas post!

So this week on Monday I sent a Thermos with leftover lasagna, a cut up apple and an energy bite.

On Tuesday I sent a container of potato salad, a container of my home canned peaches and some cut up red pepper.

On Wednesday I sent some leftover oven baked fries, some baby carrots, a half a cut up apple and an energy bite.

On Thursday I sent half a homemade calzone, half an orange cut up, and a container of canned peaches.  I send the peaches most frequently this time of year as fresh fruit is more expensive and we have less of a variety of fresh fruit in the house.

And Friday I sent a few kiwi’s, a bag of air popped popcorn with butter and salt and some of our favorite homemade banana bread with chocolate chips 🙂

That’s all for now! 🙂

You truly fix your kids such healthy lunches. How wonderful they will eat such a good variety.

I appreciate seeing all the options besides sandwiches. I think I get tired of making them before the kids tire of eating them.
