Lunchbox Inspiration Week 10

by Heidi @ Food Doodles on November 16, 2015

I can hardly believe we’re 10 weeks into the school year already!  This week was just a 4 day week due to Remembrance day.  On Monday we had no leftovers yet so I sent a peanut butter wrap, which is just a whole wheat tortilla spread with peanut butter and in this case I spread 1-2″ of the tortilla with Nutella and the rest with peanut butter for a little bit of a sweet treat.  I find you don’t need much to make it a special treat 🙂  I also sent an orange, which I peeled and put in a bag so that they wouldn’t have to.  Along with some homemade applesauce sprinkled with some pomegranate arils.

Tuesday I sent some roasted pumpkin seeds we had, along with a couple cut up radishes(yes, I think it’s weird that my kids like radishes too, haha) with a pumpkin pie spice larabar bite, some graham crackers, and a cut up apple with some pomegranate arils.

On Thursday I finally had some leftovers I could send.  I sent some chicken soup in a Thermos for both kids.  I’d be happy to hear if you have any suggestions for a good, small Thermos, the ones we have are getting a little worn out.  Anyways, along with that I sent a cut up apple held together with an elastic band and some natural peanut butter.  And as you can tell my kids couldn’t decide what kind of apple they wanted so they got half of 2 different kinds 🙂  They love it when I do this!

Friday I sent crackers and cheese(cheddar and mozzarella since indecisive was the word of the week), along with half a Fruit Source bar, some dried apple rings and some pomegranate arils.

That’s all for this week!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great week!

Neat the way you did the apple. They have both kinds. Cute!
