Lunchbox Inspiration Week 13

by Heidi @ Food Doodles on December 7, 2015

This week felt very long!  I didn’t have any leftovers to send all week, so by the end of the week I was all out of creativity.  Here’s what I sent this week.  On Monday the kids got a few graham crackers, an energy bite, a mandarin orange, some red cabbage and a few strips of homemade venison jerky.

On Tuesday I sent a cut up apple sprinkled with dried cranberries, some pomegranate arils, a couple coconut date rolls and some leftover roasted potatoes along with some ketchup for dipping.  I also sent a chocolate puddle cookie 🙂

Wednesday I sent some Greek yogurt with cranberry sauce along with some homemade coconut granola to go on top.  And some air popped popcorn with a little butter and salt on it for snack time.

Thursday I sent peanut butter rolled up inside a whole wheat tortilla along with some trail mix(pecans, hazelnuts, cranberries and raisins) and a jigsaw apple.

I couldn’t resist taking a close-up of the apple.  It was so pretty.  Of course the apples have to be exactly the same size for it to work perfectly, but even though these two weren’t perfect it still worked out pretty good 🙂  My son in particular loved this one and said his friends at school thought it was awesome too.  Yay 🙂

And Friday was obviously an orange themed lunch, haha.  Crackers and cheese, along with a mandarin orange and a cut up carrot.

Whew!  We made it through another week of school, only a couple more to go till we get a short break 😀  Have a great week everyone!

That jigsaw apple is so fun for the Christmas season! I’ll have to try it!
