Spiced lean, ground meat, with tomatoes and peas, known as keema served over a bed of rice or potatoes. This is a quick and easy(and not too spicy!) dish the whole family will love.

Ingredients
2tablespoonsbutter
1large oniondiced
3clovesgarlicminced
1lblean ground beef or venison
2tablespoonmild curry powder
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
3/4teaspoongaram masala
3/4teaspooncinnamon
3/4teaspoonground ginger
3/4teaspoontumeric
3/4teaspoonfennugreek
1quartsized jar of diced tomatoesor a 32 oz can
2cupsfrozen peas
Instructions
In a large skillet melt the butter over medium heat. When melted add onion and saute until translucent and softened.
Add the garlic and stir for just a minute before adding the ground beef or venison. Break up and cook thoroughly.
While the meat is cooking, add the spices. When the meat is fully cooked add the tomatoes and stir together.
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 25 minutes. In the final few minutes of cooking add the peas so they can just thaw and cook before serving.
