Sausage Patties in Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons ground fennel
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons ground sage
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 pounds (907 grams) ground pork

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the seasoning (garlic powder through salt).
  • Mix in the meat with wet hands, being careful not to overwork the meat or it will be tough.
  • Form 2-ounce patties, each about 2.5 inches in diameter.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 °F (190 °C).
  • Place the patties in the air fryer in one layer, making sure they're not touching.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for 4-6 more minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
  • Cool leftovers and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
