I used unsweetened coconut milk from a carton but feel free to use any kind you like including any dairy milk. If you use a sweetened variety of non-dairy milk you may not need the extra sweetener. Feel free to sub your favorite seasonal fruit in oatmeal. I love a spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter on top!
