Healthy, 3 Ingredient Date Shake

soft Medjool dates
unsweetened almond milk
plus more to blend if necessary
large frozen banana
If using harder dates, roughly chop, cover with almond milk and let sit 20-30 minutes before blending.
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until as smooth as possible(there will still be some small date pieces left).
Vanilla is optional, I like to use a
vanilla unsweetened almond milk
(omit the maple syrup) but if you use a plain almond milk, add a touch of vanilla if you'd like.
